Monti's Cafe/Monticello Antiques - NE 37th and Stark

Who doesn't love old stuff?? Am I right?!?

Friday I had some extra time after work, so I took a field trip to Monti's!! Antiquing is one of my favorite hobbies and it's the only kind of shopping that I enjoy even when I don't have any money to spend, which is a lot of the time!! Can I get an amen to that one??

Anyway, Monti's is a huge antique marketplace with a plethora of decades represented and complete with a huge garden section! Here are just of a few things I had to document! If you're ever in the area it's worth checking out yourself! You can always check them out online, let's make sure you know where you're going! :)

I'm sure you didn't think my love of top hats would be
                                     forgotten while antiquing!
You will soon see a trend of luggage and trunks! These
are a few of my favorite things!
This trunk is only $48 and it's beautiful and I absolutely
love that green between the wooden panels. Not sure
if you can really tell, but it's wonderful! Trust me!
More luggage...as promised! See, we're starting out this
relationship with trust! I will pull through for you, don't
you worry your pretty, little head!
Going back to color, I have to point out how intense this
yellow is! Don't you just want to take it home with you?
                                     Me too!
My husband and I are on the lookout for a vintage
cabinet for all our liquor and this might be it! I love
distressed furniture and I just might end up taking this
                                    one home!
Something you need to know about me, if there's an
owl in the building I will find it! I really love that mustard
one! You will see a lot more to come! And for the
record, I loved owls before they we "cool" and I will
still love them once they're out again. Okay, done with
                                    that little outburst..
Finally, we have Mr. Bull Dog! I'm not really sure
I'm in love with him, but he really made me laugh,
so I felt he deserved to be included in this trip to
                                    Monti's.

Well that's all for now folks! Thanks for reading and feel free to share your favorite antiquing spots!

xoxo
Emily

I could use them as a bedside table all stacked up or something. Loving your blog, i'm following, and you can check out and follow my blog if you likeee at www.rollerbladesandvintage.blogspot.com
